Website Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 21 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to websites, applications, tools and services operated by Mods Software, including the Mods Software website, agenticmods.ai, Woodshed Groove, and other websites and services that link to these Terms. By accessing or using our websites or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Mods Software
Mods Software designs and operates software products, online tools, websites and related services.
Our products and portfolios include developer and AI-focused tools under Agentic Mods and music and practice tools under Woodshed Groove. We may add, change or discontinue products and services over time.
References in these Terms to “Mods Software”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the operator of the relevant Mods Software website or service.
2. Using our services
You may use our websites and services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not use our services for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or infrastructure; interfere with the operation, security or availability of our services; introduce malware or other harmful software; deliberately overload, probe or attack our systems; use automated systems in a manner that places unreasonable demands on our infrastructure; or attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls or security measures.
Reasonable automated use of a service may be permitted where the service is specifically designed to support it or where we provide an API or other automated interface.
3. Accounts
Some services may require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You should tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
We may suspend or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, our services or our infrastructure, or where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
4. Free services and trials
Some Mods Software products may be provided free of charge, subject to usage limits or fair-use restrictions. We may also offer trials of paid services.
The availability, features and limits of free services or trials may change over time. Where a change materially affects an existing paid agreement, any additional terms applying to that service will govern the change.
5. Paid services
Some services, products or features may require payment. Prices, billing periods and applicable taxes will be shown before you purchase.
Additional subscription, cancellation or refund terms may be presented when you purchase a particular service. Those specific terms form part of your agreement with us.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
6. Digital products and services
Some Mods Software products are software, web applications, PWAs, downloads or other forms of digital content or digital services.
Where consumer cancellation rights apply, we will provide any information and obtain any agreement required by law before beginning immediate supply of digital content or services.
7. Your content
Some services may allow you to upload, submit, process or create content. You retain ownership of your content.
You give us permission to process that content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service, comply with your instructions, and meet our legal obligations.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit content to our services. We do not claim ownership of your files, documents, music or other material merely because they are processed using a Mods Software service.
8. AI-powered features
Some Mods Software services may use artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems.
AI-generated or AI-assisted output may contain mistakes, omissions or unexpected results. You should review important output before relying upon it.
Unless a particular service expressly states otherwise, AI-generated output should not be treated as professional legal, financial, medical, engineering or other regulated professional advice.
Where a service uses third-party AI providers, information may be processed by those providers as necessary to provide the relevant functionality. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the websites, software, designs, branding, text, graphics and other material supplied by Mods Software are owned by Mods Software or used under licence.
This includes the Mods Software, Agentic Mods, Woodshed Groove and Powered by Mods names and associated branding where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you. You may not reproduce, sell, redistribute or commercially exploit our proprietary material except where we have expressly permitted it or applicable law allows it.
Open-source components remain subject to their respective open-source licences.
10. Feedback
We welcome suggestions, bug reports and ideas.
If you voluntarily provide feedback about our products, you allow us to use that feedback to develop and improve our products without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of your separate intellectual property or content to us.
11. Third-party services
Our services may contain links to, integrate with, or depend upon third-party services.
Those services are operated by their respective providers and may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to provide reliable and useful services, but we do not guarantee that every service will always be available or error-free.
We may maintain, modify, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, internet outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Experimental and beta features
We sometimes make experimental, preview or beta features available. These may change substantially, contain errors or be withdrawn.
Where a feature is identified as experimental, preview or beta, you should not rely upon it for critical operations unless we expressly state that it is suitable for that purpose.
14. Music and practice tools
Woodshed Groove products are intended to assist musicians with practice, learning and musical development.
Tempo, tuning, timing, analysis, recommendations and other measurements provided by these tools are aids rather than guarantees of musical accuracy or performance outcomes.
15. Merchandise
Products sold under Powered by Mods or another Mods Software store may be subject to additional terms relating to ordering, delivery, returns and refunds.
Any applicable terms will be provided during the purchasing process. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the relevant service.
If you use a free service for business purposes, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses arising from that free service, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Additional liability provisions may apply to paid business services and will be stated in the terms applying to those services.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using our services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, security risks, non-payment of amounts due, or discontinuation of a service.
Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before terminating a paid service unless immediate action is necessary for security, legal or abuse-prevention reasons.
18. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on our website with its revision date.
Where a material change affects an existing paid service, we will provide appropriate notice where required.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws applicable where you live. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
